Berticot: A model for modern winegrowing cooperatives
Berticot was founded in 1965 by three visionary winemakers who wanted to join forces with the aim of optimizing regional viticultural production and sustainability, maintaining quality control and offering a wide range of wine profiles that closely match consumer desires. After almost 60 years, this collaboration has not only grown closer and stronger, but has also become the leading brand in South-West France.
CÔTES DE DURAS

But despite the similarities, the Côtes de Duras (which received AOC certification in 1937) has developed its own unique wine identity and is increasingly gaining recognition thanks to dedicated wine producers who make authentic wines with great finesse and excellent value for money. Today, more than 55% of the production of the Côtes de Duras is represented by the Cave Coopérative Berticot.
